Teresa Novo

Teresa Novo is a lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in national and international tax consulting. Throughout her career she has acquired expertise in various thematic areas such as tax consulting, tax litigation and corporate taxation.

Career

I started my career in 2006 in the Tax area of Deloitte in Lisbon. In 2012, I joined Ernst & Young (EY) in Lisbon and, after about 10 years working in international consulting firms, I started my legal practice internship.

For 6 years I practiced in law firms in Portugal, where I achieved experience in the most different areas of taxation, namely tax litigation.

My professional career was initially focused on assisting and advising national and foreign individual clients (HNWI), however, my collaboration with law firms has allowed me to work with a wide range of tax consultancy subjects and matters, and in particular with corporate taxation.
